Good Smile Company brings the iconic Amazonian warrior to adorable form with the Nendoroid Wonder Woman: Hero's Edition, numbered 818 in the Nendoroid lineup. Based on Gal Gadot's portrayal in the 2017 Wonder Woman DC Cinematic Universe film, this non-scale articulated figure captures the heroine in a chibi-styled rendition while preserving her unmistakable armor and weaponry. Wonder Woman, also known as Diana Prince, is the princess of Themyscira who ventures into the world of man during World War I to confront the god of war, Ares. Armed with her Lasso of Truth, a magical sword, and a shield, she fights for justice and compassion in a world torn by conflict. The 2017 film marked her first solo cinematic outing in the DC Extended Universe, establishing her as one of its central heroes. The figure stands approximately 100mm tall and is made from painted ABS and PVC. It includes two interchangeable face expression plates, a sword, a shield, two Lasso of Truth accessories, and posing parts. A stand is included for display. The sculpting was handled by toytec D.T.C with cooperation from Nendoron. The figure was released in February 2018 with a retail price of ¥4,991.
