r/AnimeFigures asked if it was safe. Regulars buy new and used there. Authentic goods. Photos on request for pre-owned. Pay up front. A comparison thread against AmiAmi says the same split. MyFigureCollection lists them since 2008. Older and used stock from smaller Japanese suppliers. That matches how collectors use the site.

Solaris Japan sits in the aftermarket lane more than the pre-order lane. Collectors come here when the pre-order window closed, the figure is out of AmiAmi, or they want a used box with photos. Listings are individual. Condition notes matter. You are not buying a factory pre-order slot. You are buying the piece they photographed. Prices move with the market, which is the point and also the trap. A grail can be here when every pre-order shop is dry, at a premium. Shipping is from Japan. Packing is usually careful because used stock is their inventory, not a drop-ship. Authentication is the question people actually ask. Solaris is a known shop with a long public history, not a new Instagram page. Still read the condition grade and the photos. A used scale with a yellowed base is not a bait listing. It is the listing. Pay for what the photos show, and write the review against that, including whether the grade matched the box that landed.
