Bandai's S.H.Figuarts line captures Fire from Tokkei Winspector, the 1990-1991 tokusatsu series set in the near future of 1999. Tokkei Winspector follows the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's special operations unit created to combat rising crime aided by technological advancements. The series uniquely focused on ordinary criminals and people in extraordinary situations rather than a recurring villain organization, a refreshing premise within the Metal Heroes franchise. Fire is the alter ego of Ryoma, a highly skilled police officer and the only human member of the Winspector trio. He is supported by his robotic teammates Bikel and Walter. Winspector launched the Rescue Hero Trilogy within Metal Heroes, followed by Solbrain and Exceedraft, with commanding officer Shunsuke Masaki serving as the connecting thread. Ryoma later returned as Knight Fire in Solbrain. The figure stands approximately 145mm tall and is constructed from ABS and PVC.
