FREEing presents Konjiki no Yami, also known as Golden Darkness, in a Yukata version from To LOVEru Darkness as part of their Y-style line. This 1/8 scale figure stands approximately 210mm tall and depicts the character in traditional Japanese summer festival attire. To LOVEru Darkness is a spin-off sequel to the original To LOVEru series, blending romantic comedy with sci-fi action. Konjiki no Yami, or Yami, is a legendary assassin who can transform any part of her body into weapons, from blades to giant fists. Originally sent to Earth to kill the series protagonist Rito Yuuki, she gradually develops a fondness for Earth's culture, particularly its food and taiyaki. Her cold, professional demeanor masks a lonely upbringing as a weapon, and her interactions with the cast slowly bring out a warmer, more human side. The yukata version evokes the summer festival episodes that showcase this softer dimension of her character. The figure was released in 2016 and is crafted from PVC. Based on the character design by Kentaro Yabuki and Saki Hasemi, it captures Yami in a relaxed festival outfit that contrasts with her usual combat-ready appearance.
