This chibi-style figure brings the warship-themed character into the popular Nendoroid format. Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova is set in a world where a mysterious fleet known as the Fleet of Fog has appeared and cut off humanity from the seas. These vessels take on human forms called Mental Models. Takao is a Mental Model based on the Imperial Japanese Navy's Takao-class heavy cruiser. Initially an enemy of humanity, Takao develops complex feelings and eventually allies with the protagonist Gunzou Chihaya and his crew aboard the submarine I-401. Her character arc explores themes of identity, loyalty, and what it means to be human. This Nendoroid stands approximately 100mm tall and is made from ABS and ATBC-PVC. Sculpted by Nendoron and Ooya Hideaki, it was released in June 2015 with a retail price of 6,218 JPY.
