FREEing presents Shinjou Akane from SSSS.Gridman in a 1/12 scale Swimsuit Ver. as part of their S-style figure line. This figure captures the popular character in the white two-piece bikini she wears during Episode 5 of the anime. SSSS.Gridman is a reimagining of the classic tokusatsu series Gridman the Hyper Helper, set in the fictional city of Tsutsujidai. Shinjou Akane appears as a bright-eyed, popular high school student who seems to live an ideal life. However, as the story unfolds, it becomes clear that the city and its inhabitants are not what they seem, and Akane's role in the unfolding events is far more complex than initially presented. Her cheerful exterior hides deep-seated loneliness and inner conflict, making her one of the most layered characters in the series. The figure stands approximately 130mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. It was released in February 2021 as part of FREEing's S-style line, which focuses on smaller-scale, affordable figures.
