Good Smile Company and Max Factory team up to bring the figma Splatoon Boy: DX Edition, numbered #462-DX, based on the Inkling characters from Nintendo's hit Splatoon and Splatoon 2 video games. This highly articulated figure captures the energetic, ink-splattering fun of the Turf War battles that define the series. In the world of Splatoon, Inklings are humanoid cephalopods who can transform between kid and squid forms, battling in teams to cover the most territory with their team's colored ink. The DX Edition includes two Inkling Boy figures with different expressions — one smirking and one smiling — along with a frustrated losing-match expression that can be swapped between them. The set comes packed with weapons including the Splattershot, a second Splattershot variant, and the Splatterscope, plus ink splat effect parts that attach to weapons to simulate firing. Gear such as the Squidfin Hook Cans, Painter's Mask, and Retro Specs are also included, along with the beloved referee cats Judd and Li'l Judd, who feature articulated tails and team-colored flag stickers.
