Kotobukiya brings the beloved alternate-universe web-slinger to life with this Spider-Gwen Bishoujo statue, part of the Marvel x Bishoujo line. Sculpted in 1/7 scale, the figure stands approximately 222mm tall and is crafted from ABS and PVC, with design work by Yamashita Shunya and sculpting by Hogary. Gwen Stacy hails from an alternate Marvel universe where she, rather than Peter Parker, was bitten by a radioactive spider and became a hero. As Spider-Gwen, also known as Ghost-Spider, she quickly became one of Marvel's most popular new characters of the past decade. This statue was notably the first Spider-Gwen figure released by any company, generating significant anticipation when its painted prototype was revealed at Winter Wonder Festival 2016. The figure captures Gwen in her iconic hooded costume, and was praised for its realistic anatomy and proportions, a marked improvement over some earlier Bishoujo releases.
