Aniplex and Claynel present Kitagawa Marin from Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi o Suru (My Dress-Up Darling) as a 1/7 scale Swimsuit Ver. figure. This release recreates the iconic measuring scene from the popular romantic comedy anime. Kitagawa Marin is a beautiful, popular gyaru high school student who loves anime and cosplay. When she discovers that her classmate Wakana Gojo possesses skilled sewing and makeup techniques from his passion for crafting Hina dolls, she asks him to create cosplay outfits for her. Their collaboration sparks a heartfelt romantic journey as the two bond over their shared dedication to their passions, despite coming from very different social worlds. Marin's confident, non-judgmental personality helps Gojo overcome his insecurities about his niche hobby. The figure stands approximately 190 mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. It was sculpted by Akisame with paintwork by Sakura (Fukufuku). Released as an ANIPLEX+ exclusive, it was priced at 22,000 JPY with an estimated release in December 2023.
