Good Smile Company presents Nendoroid #242 featuring Shinonome Nano from the slice-of-life comedy anime Nichijou. This chibi figure captures the quirky robot girl in the beloved Nendoroid style. Nichijou follows the absurd daily lives of students and residents in a seemingly ordinary town, blending mundane situations with surreal and over-the-top comedy. Shinonome Nano is a young robot girl created by the child genius Professor Hakase Shinonome. Despite her robotic nature, Nano desperately wants to be treated like a normal human girl, and the large wind-up key protruding from her back is a constant source of embarrassment for her. Her interactions with Hakase and their talking cat Sakamoto provide some of the series' most endearing moments. The figure stands approximately 100mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. Sculpted by Katou Manabu with cooperation from Nendoron, it was released in August 2012 at a price of ¥6,651. As a non-scale posable Nendoroid, it includes interchangeable parts for various expressions and poses.
