Hobby Max presents a 1/7 scale figure of Ikari Shinji from Neon Genesis Evangelion in the Ver. Radio Eva styling. Shinji Ikari is the reluctant protagonist of Evangelion, a teenage boy thrust into piloting the massive biomechanical Evangelion Unit-01 to defend humanity against mysterious beings known as Angels. Throughout the series, Shinji grapples with deep emotional struggles, his strained relationship with his father Gendo, and the psychological toll of combat, making him one of anime's most complex and debated characters. The Radio Eva line reimagines Evangelion characters in contemporary street fashion, and this figure depicts Shinji wearing a black sweatshirt emblazoned with "The Beast" in bold green letters, paired with pinstriped pants and blue sneakers. His relaxed stance with hands in pockets and thoughtful expression capture his contemplative nature. Standing approximately 250mm tall, the figure is made from ABS and PVC, sculpted by Kiking, Yoneyama Mai, and Satou Yasuhiro. It was released in July 2022.
