Kotobukiya releases Genjo Sanzo from Saiyuki Reload Blast as part of the ARTFX J line, a 1/8 scale figure standing approximately 190mm tall. The figure is sculpted by Tanabe Shin based on an original illustration by series author Minekura Kazuya, crafted from ABS and PVC materials. Saiyuki Reload Blast continues the journey of the monk Genjo Sanzo and his three demon companions—Son Goku, Sha Gojyo, and Cho Hakkai—as they travel westward to India to stop the resurrection of the demon lord Gyumao. Sanzo is a no-nonsense, gun-toting monk whose sharp tongue and unflappable demeanor mask a complex past, making him one of the most distinctive protagonists in the series' blend of action and character-driven storytelling. This ARTFX J figure stands at approximately 190mm tall and depicts Sanzo sitting on the head of a Buddha statue in his blood-spattered gown, reloading his pistol with his characteristic nonchalant expression. Sculpted by Tanabe Shin from an all-new illustration by original author Minekura Kazuya, the figure features meticulous details including the mantra on his shoulders, individual gun bullets, and grains of sand beneath his feet. Made from ABS and PVC, it captures the distinctive atmosphere of the Saiyuki series.
