This 1/7 scale figure of Himura Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin is manufactured by Max Factory. Rurouni Kenshin follows the story of Himura Kenshin, formerly known as Hitokiri Battosai, a legendary assassin from the Bakumatsu period who now wanders Japan as a rurouni seeking redemption. After his service as an assassin for the Imperialist cause, Kenshin vowed never to kill again and carries a sakabato, a reverse-blade sword. In 1878, he arrives in Tokyo and takes up residence at the Kamiya Dojo, where his vow is continually tested. Kenshin is recognizable by his cross-shaped scar, deep violet eyes that shift to gold when he reverts to his Battosai persona, and his simple clothing consisting of a worn kimono and white hakama. Max Factory's figure captures Kenshin's iconic appearance, reflecting the character's blend of gentle demeanor and hidden warrior intensity.
