Rem is a blue-haired Oni maid who serves at the Roswaal mansion alongside her twin sister Ram, and she has become one of the most beloved characters in the franchise. In Re:Zero, protagonist Natsuki Subaru is transported to a fantasy world where he discovers he has the ability to return to a save point upon death. Rem's character arc is one of the series' most emotionally impactful, as she develops deep devotion to Subaru after initially distrusting him.
