MegaHouse brings the fearsome Thanatos from Persona 3 to life as part of their Game Characters Collection DX line. This imposing figure captures the main character's ultimate Persona in a dynamic pose, sword drawn after a devastating slash, with swirling effect parts and countless coffins adorning its back. In Persona 3, a group of high school students discovers the Dark Hour, a hidden time between one day and the next where monstrous creatures called Shadows roam. The protagonist awakens to the power of Persona, summoning Thanatos, the "God of Death," as one of the most iconic and powerful Personas in the game. Thanatos represents the protagonist's resolve to face mortality head-on, playing a pivotal role in the climactic battles against the forces threatening humanity. Standing approximately 300mm tall to the tip of its sword, this painted PVC and ABS figure was sculpted by Pinpoint and Andou Kenji. The figure was supervised by Shigenori Soejima, the art director for the Persona series, ensuring the ominous appearance of the God of Death is faithfully recreated. Released in February 2020, this figure showcases intricate details and paintwork that make it a standout piece for any Persona collection.
