Albedo is a central character in Overlord, a series that follows Ainz Ooal Gown, a powerful undead overlord transported from a VRMMO game into a fantasy world. As the Guardian Overseer of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Albedo commands the Floor Guardians and manages the dungeon's operations. She was programmed by Ainz's guildmate Tabula Smaragdina to be deeply in love with the guild's leader, and after Momonga altered her settings to be in love with him specifically, she became fiercely devoted. Albedo is known for her intelligence, beauty, and obsessive affection for Ainz, as well as her contempt for humans and other beings outside Nazarick. In Overlord IV, her character continues to develop as she takes on a more prominent political role. The wing version of this figure emphasizes Albedo's demonic heritage, with large outstretched wings that highlight her otherworldly nature as a succubus.
