Good Smile Company's POP UP PARADE line welcomes Amaterasu from the beloved action-adventure game Okami, accompanied by the tiny sprite Issun. This affordable collectible stands approximately 130mm tall and is sculpted from ABS and PVC, with sculpting work handled by NEQ and Yuyu. In Okami, Amaterasu is the sun goddess who takes the form of a white wolf to restore a world plunged into darkness by the eight-headed demon Orochi. Described as the "origin of all that is good and mother to us all," Amaterasu travels across a beautifully stylized version of feudal Japan, using her Celestial Brush techniques to bring life back to corrupted lands. Issun, a wandering artist turned companion, rides atop Amaterasu and provides guidance and commentary throughout their journey. The game is celebrated for its sumi-e ink art style and mythological storytelling rooted in Japanese folklore. The figure captures Amaterasu's iconic celestial appearance with her red markings and mirror-shaped weapon, while Issun is perched on her back. As part of the POP UP PARADE series, it offers an accessible entry point for collectors at a standard height of around 17–18cm. A rerelease of this figure has been made available for fans who missed the original run.
