The figure stands approximately 310mm tall and is crafted from ABS, iron, and PVC materials. Pod 042 is a tactical support unit commonly assigned to YoRHa soldiers, loaded with various weapons for long-ranged attacks and responsible for displaying correspondence from Command. Throughout the story, Pod 042 supports 2B during routes A, B, and the start of C, maintaining a robotic, observant, and stoic personality. It is highly knowledgeable about strategy and YoRHa operations, yet unable to comprehend emotions, occasionally offering unhelpful or obvious answers. Despite this, Pod 042 is fiercely loyal to 2B, and later transfers its allegiance to A2 at 2B's instruction. Over the course of the narrative, Pod 042 begins developing something resembling free will, ultimately questioning its role in Project YoRHa and choosing to spare and repair 2B, 9S, and A2.
