About this figure
Good Smile Company's Nendoroid line brings Miroku from Sengoku Otogizoushi: InuYasha to life as figure #1735. This non-scale articulated figure captures the wandering monk in the signature chibi style that has made Nendoroid one of the most popular figure lines worldwide. Miroku is a Buddhist monk who travels feudal Japan during the Sengoku period, accompanying Inuyasha and Kagome in their quest to collect the shards of the Shikon Jewel. He carries a hereditary curse—a Wind Tunnel in his right hand that serves as a powerful weapon but will eventually consume him unless the demon Naraku, who cursed his family, is destroyed. Despite the gravity of his situation, Miroku is known for his lecherous behavior, frequently asking women to bear his children, which serves as both comic relief and a poignant reminder of his mortality. The figure stands approximately 100mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. Sculpted by Shichibee with cooperation from Nendoron, it retailed at ¥2,193 and includes interchangeable parts for dynamic display options.
