Osomatsu-san is a comedy anime that reimagines Fujio Akatsuka's classic 1962 manga Osomatsu-kun, following the six identical Matsuno brothers as lazy, jobless adults. Each brother has a distinct personality despite their identical appearance, and Osomatsu, as the eldest, is characterized as the most irresponsible and carefree of the group. He often takes the lead in the brothers' antics and is known for his laid-back attitude and occasional selfishness. The series became a massive hit for its irreverent humor and meta-comedy.
