Good Smile Company's Nendoroid #1245 features both Madara in his Nyanko-sensei form and Natsume Takashi from Natsume Yuujinchou, standing approximately 100mm tall. Made from ABS and PVC, this dual-character Nendoroid captures the heartwarming relationship at the center of the series. Natsume Yuujinchou follows Natsume Takashi, a teenager who can see yokai (spirits), a trait inherited from his grandmother Reiko. Reiko had collected the names of yokai in a book called the Yuujinchou, or Book of Friends, effectively binding them to her service. Takashi inherits this book and spends the series returning the names to their rightful owners, freeing the yokai from their contracts. Madara, often called Nyanko-sensei, is a powerful yokai who takes the form of a lucky cat and serves as Takashi's protector and self-proclaimed bodyguard, with the understanding that he will inherit the Book of Friends when Takashi dies. Sculpted by Shichibee and Nendoron, the figure was released in August 2020 with a retail price of 4,545 yen. The inclusion of both characters in a single Nendoroid reflects their inseparable bond throughout the series.
