MegaHouse presents the Mizuki Look Up figure from Kitarou Tanjou: Gegege no Nazo, standing approximately 110mm tall and sculpted by Okuno (Okkun) and TAMPOPO. This figure depicts the human character Mizuki from the origin story of the beloved Gegege no Kitaro franchise. Mizuki is an ordinary salaryman who becomes entangled in the world of yokai when he discovers that the last surviving members of the Ghost Tribe have been selling their blood to make ends meet. After the ghost parents perish, Mizuki reluctantly buries the still-pregnant mother and is shocked when the child, Kitaro, crawls from the grave. Despite initial horror, Mizuki adopts the eerie child and raises him, eventually allowing Kitaro and his father Medama-Oyaji to live with him. Mizuki's journey even takes him to Jigoku, the underworld, after he confiscates a ticket that Kitaro uses to travel there at night. The Look Up series features figures in a seated pose with an upward gaze, designed to sit on desks or shelves where they appear to be looking up at the viewer.
