MegaHouse presents Tsuyuri Kanao from Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) as part of their Gals Series. Standing approximately 170mm tall and made from ABS and PVC, this pre-painted figure was sculpted by Taumokei and Kaminaga Ryuutarou, with a retail price of 15,180 JPY. Tsuyuri Kanao is a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps, serving under the Butterfly Mansion alongside Shinobu Kocho. Originally taken in as a child by the Kocho sisters after suffering tragic loss, Kanao was emotionally withdrawn and unable to make decisions for herself, following orders mechanically. Under the influence of protagonist Tanjiro Kamado and her adoptive sister Kanae's teachings, she gradually learns to express emotions and make her own choices. She wields a unique pink-tinted Nichirin Blade and practices Flower Breathing techniques, making her one of the most skilled swordfighters among the younger generation of Demon Slayers. This figure captures Kanao wielding her Nichirin Sword with a calm and composed expression as she dashes forward, her cloak billowing with the movement. The unique design of her blade has been reproduced in stunning detail. Released in October 2021, this Gals Series figure is a beautiful representation of one of Demon Slayer's most beloved characters.
