Kafka Hibino is the central character of Kaiju No. 8, a series set in a Japan frequently besieged by monstrous creatures known as kaiju. Kafka works within the cleanup crews that handle the aftermath of kaiju attacks, but his life changes dramatically when he gains the ability to transform into a powerful kaiju himself.
