Good Smile Company, in cooperation with Takara Tomy, presents Nendoroid Tenya Iida from Boku no Hero Academia. This non-scale articulated figure stands approximately 100mm tall and is sculpted by Shichibee with cooperation from Nendoron. Priced at 5,500 yen, it was released in February 2021. Tenya Iida is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School in My Hero Academia, a series about young people training to become professional heroes. Iida serves as the class representative and is known for his serious, disciplined demeanor and strong sense of justice. His Quirk, Engine, gives him turbine-like organs in his legs that allow him to move at incredible speeds. He comes from a family of heroes, with his brother Ingenium serving as a major inspiration. Iida's character development explores themes of responsibility, vengeance, and what it truly means to be a hero, particularly during the Stain arc where he confronts the hero killer. The figure is made from ABS and PVC materials and includes a stand, as the figure does not balance on its own. As a Nendoroid, it features the signature chibi proportions and interchangeable face plates and parts characteristic of the line. Paintwork is partially done by hand, so final products may vary slightly.
