Good Smile Company releases a refreshed version of the iconic Hakurei Reimu from the Touhou Project as Nendoroid number 700, version 2.0. This non-scale articulated figure stands approximately 100mm tall and is constructed from ABS and PVC materials. Reimu Hakurei is the main protagonist of the Touhou Project, a beloved series of doujin bullet hell shooters created by ZUN. She serves as the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, tasked with maintaining the boundary between Gensokyo and the outside world. Known for her laid-back attitude and tendency to resolve supernatural incidents for the sake of peace (and occasional profit), Reimu is one of the most recognizable characters in the doujin and indie game community. Her role involves confronting various yokai and powerful beings who threaten the delicate balance of Gensokyo. This 2.0 version updates the original Nendoroid with improved articulation and detailing. Sculpted with cooperation from Nendoron and JUN (E.V.), the figure was originally released in June 2020, with a rerelease in July 2024. Production cooperation was provided by Nendoron.
