Union Creative International Ltd presents Shinjou Akane from Gridman Universe as part of the Zozo Black Collection. This figure stands approximately 235mm tall and is sculpted from ABS and ATBC-PVC, with sculpting work by Sawada Keisuke, Trinity, and Nakamura Mayumi. Akane Shinjou is a central character in the SSSS.Gridman and Gridman Universe series, part of the Gridman franchise reimagining by Studio Trigger. In the original SSSS.Gridman, Akane is revealed to be the god-like creator of the virtual city of Tsutsujidai, where she crafted a world to escape her real-life loneliness and bullying. She secretly orchestrated monster attacks on the city as a coping mechanism for her emotional pain. In Gridman Universe, her character continues to develop as she navigates the consequences of her actions and her relationships with Yuta Hibiki and the Gridman Alliance. The Zozo Black Collection version presents Akane in an exclusive dark-themed outfit. Scheduled for release in April 2025, this figure features detailed sculpting by a team of three artists. The Zozo Black Collection line offers exclusive colorways of popular characters, with Akane joining other Gridman Universe characters in the series.
