Action Toys and Good Smile Company collaborate to bring Great Mazinger to the Nendoroid line as figure #1944. This chibi-style rendition reimagines the iconic super robot in the signature cute proportions of the Nendoroid series. Great Mazinger is the successor to the original Mazinger Z, piloted by Tetsuya Tsurugi in the classic 1970s mecha anime. Created by Go Nagai, the series features Great Mazinger defending Earth against the Mycenae Empire, a civilization of powerful robots led by the Great General of Darkness. The Great Mazinger itself is equipped with powerful weapons including the Atomic Scrander, Breast Burn, and Thunder Break, making it one of the most formidable super robots of its era. Standing approximately 100mm tall, this plastic Nendoroid was sculpted by Nendoron and Kokomai. It was released around 2023-2024 and carries the product code 1944, priced at 5,940 JPY.
