Art Spirits, in collaboration with Plex, presents Pero 2 from the anime series Godzilla Singular Point as part of their Q Collection line. This figure stands approximately 130mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC, with sculpting by Shimomura Hiroyasu and Fujinawa Kazuhiko. Godzilla Singular Point is a 2021 anime series that reimagines the Godzilla mythology with a blend of science fiction and mystery. Pero 2 is a robotic character in the series, part of a line of autonomous AI-driven mecha units. The show follows protagonists Yun Arikawa and Mei Kamino as they investigate mysterious phenomena threatening the world, with Godzilla and other kaiju emerging as existential threats. The series weaves complex themes of artificial intelligence, quantum physics, and monster mythology into its narrative. The Q Collection line by Art Spirits features low-head-to-body ratio proportions, giving characters a compact and adorable chibi-style appearance. Pero 2 was scheduled for release in November 2022.
