MegaHouse brings Hijikata Toushirou from Gintama into their popular Look Up figure series. Known for its signature sitting pose with an upward gaze, the Look Up line is designed to be displayed at eye level, with a neck joint that allows the figure to always be looking right at you. Hijikata was released alongside Gintoki Sakata, encouraging collectors to display them together for the full Gintama experience. Hijikata Toushirou is the Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi in Gintama, a comedic sci-fi historical series set in an alternate Edo-era Japan invaded by aliens known as Amanto. Known as the demonic vice-commander, Hijikata is fiercely loyal and maintains strict discipline within the force, yet is comically obsessed with mayonnaise, slathering it on everything he eats. His deadpan demeanor and chain-smoking habit make him one of the most recognizable characters in the series. This pre-painted figure stands approximately 110mm tall and was released in October 2024. The retail price in Japan was ¥4,400 including tax.
