Kotobukiya presents a 1/8 scale figure of Ryougi Shiki from Gekijouban Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin, also known as The Garden of Sinners: Future Gospel. Sculpted by Takeuchi Takashi and Tatsuya Hattori, the figure is titled Yume no Youna, Hibi no Nagori, capturing Shiki in a contemplative pose. Ryougi Shiki is the protagonist of the Kara no Kyoukai series, a dark urban fantasy that explores philosophical themes through its supernatural narrative. Shiki possesses the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, an ability that allows her to perceive the death of all things as lines and points, enabling her to kill anything by cutting along those lines. In Future Gospel, the story explores themes of precognition through characters like Shizune Seo, who can foresee deaths, and Mitsuru Kamekura, whose calculated bombings Shiki disrupts. The film also glimpses Shiki's future as the head of the Ryougi family, with her daughter Mana playing a role in the Möbius Link segment set ten years after the main events. Standing at approximately 205mm tall, the figure is made from ABS and PVC. Priced at 8,800 JPY, it reflects Shiki's enigmatic presence and the atmospheric tone of the Kara no Kyoukai franchise.
