FREEing, in collaboration with Max Factory and Union Creative International Ltd, releases the Winged Victory of Samothrace as part of the Table Museum figma line (SP-110). The Table Museum series reimagines renowned works of art as poseable figma figures, bringing museum masterpieces into collectors' hands in an interactive format. The Winged Victory of Samothrace, also known as Nike of Samothrace, is one of the most celebrated sculptures of the Hellenistic period, depicting the Greek goddess Nike in a dramatic, wind-swept stance. The original marble statue dates to approximately 190 BC and was discovered on the island of Samothrace in the northern Aegean Sea. It is now prominently displayed at the Louvre Museum in Paris, where it stands at the head of the Daru staircase. The sculpture is renowned for its masterful rendering of flowing drapery and the sense of forward momentum conveyed through its winged form, despite the figure missing its head and arms. Sculpted by Ishibashi Tatsuya, the figma stands approximately 155mm tall and is constructed from ABS and PVC materials.
