Standing approximately 170mm tall and priced at 8,500 JPY, this ABS and PVC figure is sculpted by M.I.C. and Toushuusai Sharaku, with product code 4570001513985. This figure is based on the famous ukiyo-e woodblock print by Tōshūsai Sharaku, one of the most enigmatic artists of Japan's Edo period. The original print depicts the kabuki actor Ōtani Oniji III in the role of Edobei, a servant character, capturing a moment of intense dramatic expression with Sharaku's signature bold lines and exaggerated features. Sharaku's brief but impactful career produced roughly 140 known portraits of kabuki performers, and this particular work is among his most celebrated.
