She is the homunculus clone created by Morgan le Fay using Artoria Pendragon's genetic material, making her technically Artoria's child. Mordred's deep desire for recognition from her father figure, King Arthur, and her eventual rebellion against the Round Table form the core of her tragic backstory. In Fate/Grand Order, she is brash, hot-headed, and fiercely loyal to her Master, wielding the sword Clarent and capable of unleashing its Noble Phantasm, Clarent Blood Arthur — a massive surge of cursed energy. Her complex relationship with Artoria and her struggle for identity make her one of the franchise's most compelling characters.
