Wave presents Ayanami Rei from the Rebuild of Evangelion film series in their Dream Tech line at 1/7 scale, Plugsuit Style. This figure captures the iconic Eva pilot in her signature plugsuit with premium craftsmanship. Rei Ayanami is the withdrawn pilot of Evangelion Unit-00, a clone created from the salvaged remains of Yui Ikari. Plagued by negative self-worth as she realizes she is an expendable asset, Rei initially despises Shinji for his lack of trust in his father Gendo. After they defeat the Angel Ramiel together, she takes a friendly liking to him. Towards the end of the original series, it is revealed that she is one of many clones, whose use is to replace the currently existing Rei if she is killed. Rei's distinctive design became so popular that media referred to her as Premium Girl due to high merchandise sales. Sculpted by Akimoto Hajime and Ousaka Miki, this 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 350mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC materials as part of Wave's premium Dream Tech line.
