Kotobukiya's ARTFX+ line presents Luke Cage from Marvel's Defenders in a 1/10 scale statue, standing approximately 200mm tall. Made from ABS and PVC, this figure features sculpting by Abe Junnosuke with original art by Dale Keown, and was released in July 2018. Luke Cage, also known as Power Man, is a street-level hero in Marvel's Defenders lineup. With unbreakable skin and superhuman strength, Cage serves as a pillar of his community in Harlem, fighting to protect the innocent. The Defenders series brought together Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage as a team of heroes operating in the gritty streets of New York City, each dealing with their own personal struggles while confronting larger threats. Kotobukiya launched their comic-based Defenders ARTFX+ statue line in October 2017 with Daredevil, and Luke Cage followed as the next addition. The line aimed to capture the comic book versions of these characters in a cohesive 1/10 scale collection.
