Date A Live follows Shido Itsuka, who must seal the powers of Spirits—powerful beings causing spatial quakes—by making them fall in love with him. Yatogami Tohka is the first Spirit Shido encounters and saves, becoming one of the series' central characters. Her Astral Dress represents her full Spirit power, and Sandalphon is her signature sword, a weapon of immense destructive capability.
