Good Smile Arts Shanghai and Good Smile Company present a 1/7 scale figure of Osamu Dazai from Bungo Stray Dogs in a Kimono Ver. This beautifully crafted figure stands approximately 230mm tall and showcases the character in traditional Japanese attire. Osamu Dazai is a key member of the Armed Detective Agency in Bungo Stray Dogs, a series where characters named after famous literary authors possess supernatural abilities. Dazai's ability, "No Longer Human," allows him to nullify other supernatural abilities upon touch. Known for his laid-back demeanor and morbid fascination with suicide, Dazai is also a former executive of the Port Mafia, making him one of the most complex and strategically brilliant characters in the series. The figure depicts Dazai in a relaxed pose that expresses his dignified yet elegant charm, with a fox mask in his hand adding a touch of mystery. Special attention has been paid to the sculpting, from his flowing hair to his gentle smile and deep gaze. Soft gradated paintwork gives the sleeves and hem an ink painting-like feel, while momiji leaves at his feet and a red and brown wood bridge create an autumn-like landscape. The figure was sculpted by Kamui with paintwork by Melon Soda.
