Kotobukiya's Horror Bishoujo line transforms the notorious killer doll Chucky from the film Bride of Chucky into a stunning Bishoujo statue. This unique reimagining is part of Kotobukiya's acclaimed series that converts iconic horror and movie characters into beautiful anime-style figures. Bride of Chucky is the fourth installment in the Child's Play franchise, released in 1998. The film follows the serial killer Charles Lee Ray, whose soul inhabits a Good Guy doll named Chucky. In this installment, Chucky is resurrected by his former lover Tiffany, and the two embark on a murderous road trip. The film blends horror with dark comedy and introduced a more self-aware, irreverent tone to the series. Chucky's character is known for his wisecracking personality, distinctive scarred appearance, and relentless pursuit of mayhem. The figure stands approximately 200mm tall and is made from ABS, PVC, and magnet components. It features original art and sculpting by Shunya Yamashita, a renowned illustrator known for his distinctive Bishoujo style, with additional sculpting by Busujima Takamaki.
