Bell Fine's SoftB series presents Pinoko from Osamu Tezuka's classic manga Black Jack in a Comic Ver. soft vinyl figure. Standing at approximately 28 centimeters tall, this figure faithfully recreates the character's cute appearance as depicted in the original manga. Black Jack is a manga created by Osamu Tezuka in 1973, carrying a strong satirical tone toward societal norms. The protagonist, Dr. Black Jack, whose real name is Kuroo Hazama, is an unlicensed surgeon with extraordinary medical skills who operates in the shadows. He charges exorbitant fees but often does so due to underlying dark circumstances, and he readily helps the poor and fights against unscrupulous corporations causing pollution. Pinoko is Dr. Black Jack's best partner, accompanying him through his medical adventures. The Comic Ver. features a white top paired with a pink skirt, distinguishing it from the anime version's color scheme. Made of PVC with paintwork by Masato Manno of Zokei Kobo Mitsurin, the figure was released in November 2024 with a suggested retail price of 11,660 yen including tax.
