Good Smile Company releases Ai-chan from Getsuyoubi no Tawawa (Tawawa on Monday) as Nendoroid #808, bringing the cheerful mascot of Monday mornings to collectible form. This figure was released as a Good Smile Company Online Shop limited edition. Getsuyoubi no Tawawa originated as a series of weekly illustrations by artist Kiseki Himura, posted every Monday to encourage people heading to work or school. Ai-chan is the central character, a high school girl who meets a salaryman known as Onii-san during their Monday morning train commutes. Their wholesome, slice-of-life interactions became the foundation for an anime adaptation and a dedicated fanbase. Ai-chan's distinctive design, featuring her signature blue sweater and gentle demeanor, made her an instantly recognizable character. Sculpted by Nendoron and Iguchi Shinya, the figure stands approximately 100mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. It was first released in February 2018, capturing Ai-chan's warm and inviting presence in compact Nendoroid format.
