MegaHouse celebrates the 55th anniversary of Ultraman with the Ultimate Article Type-C figure. This highly detailed collectible captures the original Ultraman in his Type-C suit design, one of the most iconic versions of the character from the groundbreaking 1966 tokusatsu series. Ultraman follows the story of Shin Hayata, a member of the Science Special Search Party who merges with the being of light from the Land of Light in Nebula M78. Together, they defend Earth from giant monsters and alien threats. The Type-C suit is one of several suit variations used during the original series' production, and MegaHouse has gone to great lengths to capture every nuance — including the diamond shapes in the eyes, the slight asymmetry of the eyes, ears, and mouth, and often-omitted suit details. All designs were carefully checked by Tsuburaya Productions' Light Sculpture Studio (LSS). Standing at 400mm tall, this ABS and PVC figure features both light-up and audio effects. The first setting plays the Flash Beam sound effect with blue eyes and Color Timer, followed by 90 seconds of classic battle music. The second setting flashes the Color Timer red for 20 seconds before unleashing the Ultra Beam sound effect. Interchangeable arm parts allow for both a fighting pose and the iconic Ultra Beam pose.
