Groove Garage, under the Milestone brand, presents Misaka Mikoto in a Bath Defo style figure from To Aru Kagaku no Railgun S. Standing approximately 95mm tall and made of ABS and PVC, this figure was released on October 31, 2015. The sculpt was handled by Bifuru and Kuma. Misaka Mikoto is the third-ranked Level 5 esper in Academy City and the protagonist of A Certain Scientific Railgun, a spinoff of the A Certain Magical Index series. Known as the Railgun for her signature attack of firing coins at supersonic speeds using her electromaster abilities, Mikoto is a tomboyish and fiercely independent middle school student attending Tokiwadai Middle School. In Railgun S, she confronts the dark side of Academy City when she discovers the existence of the Sisters — clones of herself being slaughtered in experiments to accelerate the evolution of the esper Accelerator. Her determination to protect her clones drives much of the series' emotional core. The Bath Defo figure line presents characters in a cute, deformed bathing style, offering a lighthearted take on the usually intense and action-oriented Railgun protagonist.
