From the Toei-produced Spider-Man series comes this Nendoroid of Spider-Man (Yamashiro Takuya), manufactured by Good Smile Company as product number 1716. The Toei Version captures the unique Japanese iteration of the iconic web-slinger in adorable Nendoroid form, standing approximately 100mm tall. The Toei Spider-Man series reimagined the Marvel hero as Takuya Yamashiro, a young motocross racer who gains spider powers from an alien called Garia from the planet Spider. Piloting the giant robot Leopardon, Takuya battles the evil Iron Cross Army. This distinctly Japanese take on Spider-Man, with its tokusatsu influences and mecha elements, has gained a cult following and is notable for its creative divergence from the American source material while maintaining the core spider-themed hero concept. This Nendoroid stands at 100mm and is made from ABS and PVC. It was sculpted by Nendoron and Toytec DTC.
