Medicom Toy's MAFEX line presents Peter B. Parker as Spider-Man from the acclaimed animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Standing at 160mm tall, this 1/12 scale figure is sculpted by Perfect-Studio with additional work by Noda Yumiko and SH Studio, and is constructed from ABS, fabric, and PVC. In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Peter B. Parker is a jaded, older version of Spider-Man pulled from another dimension into Miles Morales' reality. Having experienced divorce, career stagnation, and physical decline, this Peter serves as an reluctant mentor to the young Miles. Their dynamic forms the emotional core of the film, as Peter rediscovers his sense of purpose through guiding a new Spider-Man. The film's revolutionary animation style, with its comic book-inspired visuals and frame rate techniques, redefined what animated superhero storytelling could achieve. This MAFEX release captures Peter B. Parker's distinctive character design from the film, including his fabric costume elements. Priced at 10,000 JPY, the figure reflects Medicom Toy's commitment to translating the film's unique visual style into three-dimensional form.
