Good Smile Company's Nendoroid series brings the titular hero of Shovel Knight to life in chibi form as Nendoroid number 1929. The figure captures the indie game icon in his classic blue armor and shovel, complete with a range of accessories for customizable display options. Shovel Knight is the protagonist of the acclaimed indie platformer of the same name, a valiant warrior on a quest to rescue his beloved Shield Knight from the Tower of Fate. The game draws heavy inspiration from classic 8-bit platformers, and Shovel Knight's design—complete with his signature shovel used for both combat and traversal—has become an iconic symbol of the modern indie game movement. Standing approximately 100mm tall, the Nendoroid is made from ABS and PVC and was sculpted by Nendoron and Poly-Toys. The figure includes a shovel, attack effect part, treasure chest, two alternate pairs of arms, a bent leg part, and a stand, allowing for a variety of poses. The retail price was 7,920 JPY.
