X-Plus adds Godzilla's 2nd Form from Shin Godzilla to their DefoReal Series, a line known for combining cute, deformed proportions with the iconic designs of classic kaiju. This figure captures the creature's eerie early evolution stage. Shin Godzilla, the 2016 film directed by Hideaki Anno, reimagines Godzilla's origin for a modern audience. The creature evolves through multiple forms as it adapts to its environment, with the 2nd Form representing its awkward, almost grotesque transitional stage as it emerges from the water and begins to make its devastating way through Tokyo. This form is notable for its unsettling, unpolished appearance, with bulging eyes and a tail that drags behind it, conveying the horror of an evolving, unpredictable threat. The DefoReal Series reimagines these kaiju with large heads and squat, chubby proportions. This figure stands approximately 160mm tall and measures about 130mm in length. It is made of PVC soft vinyl and was released in October 2017, with Plex Co., Ltd. serving as the sales agent.
