Bandai's Myth Cloth EX line brings Sagittarius Aiolos to collectible form, part of the Saint Seiya Myth Cloth series produced under the Tamashii Nations brand. Based on Masami Kurumada's classic manga and anime, this figure represents one of the most revered characters in the Saint Seiya universe. Sagittarius Aiolos is the Gold Saint of Sagittarius, one of the twelve Gold Saints who serve the goddess Athena. Known for his unwavering nobility and sense of justice, Aiolos sacrificed everything to protect the infant Athena from a conspiracy within Sanctuary. Falsely branded a traitor, he died defending the baby goddess, leaving behind a legacy that inspires the series' protagonists. He is the older brother of Leo Aiolia, whose own story is deeply affected by the stigma of Aiolos's alleged betrayal. The Sagittarius Gold Cloth itself plays a recurring role throughout the series, often appearing to aid the Bronze Saints in their battles. Standing approximately 180mm tall, the figure incorporates ABS, PVC, and die-cast metal components, allowing for the detailed reproduction of the Sagittarius Gold Cloth armor.
