She is a half-elf and a candidate in the Royal Selection to become the 42nd monarch of the Dragon Kingdom of Lugunica. Born and raised in Elior Forest, Emilia was frozen for approximately 100 years during the Permafrost event, which also locked away her memories. She entered the Royal Selection hoping to unfreeze the forest's residents. Despite facing mass discrimination due to her resemblance to the Witch of Envy, Emilia has achieved significant feats, including helping defeat the Sin Archbishop of Greed and the Great Rabbit, becoming administrator of the Pleiades Watchtower, and forming an alliance with Vollachia. Emilia is known for her kind, selfless nature and her tendency to use archaic words like "dunderhead," a quirk often teased by the series protagonist, Natsuki Subaru.
