In Onmyoji, a 3D Japanese-style turn-based RPG developed by NetEase, Yamata no Orochi is an SSR-rarity Shikigami and a powerful damage dealer. Based on the legendary eight-headed serpent from Japanese mythology, the character was sealed within the rift between the realms of Yin and Yang for hundreds of years before being discovered by an Onmyoji of the Minamoto clan. The Minamoto built an altar and offered sacrifices in exchange for his power, granting Yamata no Orochi an eye through which to observe the human world. The character is voiced by Mamoru Miyano and possesses devastating abilities including the Divine Demon Space skill, which commands snake demons to attack all enemies. The figure's substantial height of 365mm reflects the imposing presence of this mythical serpent deity, with metal components adding weight and durability to the sculpt.
